Roger Greisch who would have been aged 99 on the 17th of May this year is one of the best known and most popular painters in East Belgium.

Regarding this exhibition it is therefore only fair to talk about ninetynine years full of emotions, hardship and challenges – and about a lifetime Greisch dedicated with utmost consequence to his art. This art is until today marked by the presence of colours – colours he used in the making of both abstract and figurative works; all along he has been cultivating a language of colour of his own.

We celebrate this anniversary together with the public in presenting the show 99 Years – 99 Colours.
