Eros and Thanatos have always been the subject of artistic discourse as well as our own personal lives. The different ways of dealing with it seem all the more interesting. While Denyse Willem reflects the theme of Eros and Thanatos in a figurative, almost medieval painting, Ernst Wille works on love and death with intense colours in an abstract, simple forms. The different positions shown in the exhibition, both in terms of content and form, demonstrate once again how art always lives and is inspired by different points of view.
