On Friday, December 13 at 4 p.m., the new artist's book by Ton Slits – Voll und Ganz 1984-2024 will be presented at the IKOB Museum of Contemporary Art, Eupen.

Ton Slits, who is represented in the IKOB collection with several works and is involved in the current exhibition project Into the Void as a curator, will hold an artist talk with director Frank-Thorsten Moll.

“With this lavish catalog, I am looking back fully and completely for the very first time on my artistic work and my life in the years from 1984 to 2024. In these past four decades, I have seemingly started from scratch day in and day out in my studio – a fiction, of course, because as a creative person, I always carry insights and achievements within me.” (Ton Slits)

The 212-page edition (NL-DE) was designed by Marc van den Eynden-Ontwerp (NL) and edited by Rick Vercauteren (NL). The catalog costs 35 EUR.

The program:

4 p.m. – arrival at the museum with the opportunity to visit the exhibition “Into the Void”

4:30 p.m. – conversation between Frank-Thorsten Moll and Ton Slits

5 p.m. – drinks and soup, Ton Slits will be signing books

Please send an e-mail to moll@ikob.be if you would like to attend the book presentation by December 9.

Admission is free.
