At the Meakusma Festival 2024, Maxime Denuc presents Elevations, a new installation built around a specially developed, computer-controlled organ. This remarkable instrument, created by Belgian organ builder Tony Decap, consists of an eight-meter-long linear arrangement of pipes. Each pipe can be individually controlled, allowing for both complex harmonic structures and delicate, breath-like sounds.

The installation creates an immersive sonic experience in which acoustic and electronic elements blend seamlessly. The physical presence of the long pipe row and the spatial amplification of the organ envelop the audience in a rich and compelling sound environment.

Maxime Denuc is an electronic music composer based in Brussels. In recent years, his solo work has focused on the sonic possibilities of church organs. In 2022, he released Nachthorn, an album for MIDI-controlled church organ that was widely acclaimed by critics.
