With the beginning of the twenty-first century, artists laid claim to the freedom to expand the space of art to include the planetary, cosmic and solar dimension. The advent of the photovoltaic cell has provided architecture as well as art with the necessary trust for integrating material and formative processes into natural cycles. In this sense, the solar era stands for light-determined and artistically-utilizable technologies.
