"Women in Comics" - Panel discussion

Comics have long had a reputation for being just something for children and young people. This has changed. In the meantime, comics have become a recognized medium within the ever more widely spread literature and visual culture. But as in many other areas, there is a strong dominance of the male gaze and male actors. Women still find it difficult to assert themselves in the world of comics. What this is and what social grievances can be seen in the world of comics is the subject of the panel discussion, which at the same time forms the prelude to COMICIADE in Eupen.
