IKOB cordially invites you to the opening of the exhibitions Tanja Mosblech & Andrea Radermacher-Mennicken: HYPERBILD and Veronika Eberhart: GARTEN SPRENGEN.

In their exhibition, Tanja Mosblech (*1970, Cologne, DE) and Andrea Radermacher-Mennicken (*1964, Eupen, BE) present the results of their three-year collaboration as Artists of East Belgium [“Künstlerinnen Ostbelgiens”] 2020–23. Their project “Hyperbild” [hyperimage] arises from the mutual exchange of keywords, ideas, and materials: an infinite network of associations questioning the ways in which images can be associated in our digital age.

Veronika Eberhart (*1982, Bad Radkersburg, AT) presents her newest film Garten sprengen [Sprinkling [the] Garden, 2022] alongside a new series of sculptural and photographic works based on the biography of the composer Hanns Eisler. Eberhart’s search for buried layers of meaning fuels her investigation into social histories, as she reflects on music and film’s impact on mass society, stirring up diverse timelines.
