A self-proclaimed "Little Master of Miserable Art", Jacques Lizène is particularly interested in genetic mutations, which he observes over time and translates into art with great irony. Jacques Lizène makes both scientific and ethical themes his own, so that each work of art sparkles with new creativity and exciting impact. Spontaneous and unexpected, with wit and humour, always intent on destroying conventions and understandings, Lizène creates installations, performances, collages, video art as well as drawings.
