Bye-bye to Boredom! – Vacation Studio for Children and Youths at the IKOB

My Fantastic Something

Would you like to be creative for an entire week? Do you like the idea of being able to paint or build everything that you can imagine? Do you enjoy putting your thoughts on paper? Do you draw yourself and your world as it is or could be? Then we’ve got just the thing for you!
We will be starting the summer vacation together! For an entire week, this will be our focus: being creative at the IKOB – Museum of Contemporary Art. And best of all: the whole museum will be available to us as a studio.

The title of the workshop already says everything: during the week, you will put together your ‘Fantastic Friend’. The whole shebang. Anything you can think of. The sky's the limit. In order to be able to make that happen, we will take a look at faces, animal skulls, the flowerbeds in the rooftop garden, and all sorts of possible and impossible motifs.
Our ‘Fantastic Something’, however, won't simply be done on paper; it will also be put together as a sculpture. At the end of the week, your works will be on display for your family to view in a big, final exhibition.
