The works of the artist Horst Keining from Düsseldorf are situated in the tradition of the painted lettering-pictures of the twentieth century. In meticulous stages of work, he obscures and superimposes images collected from advertising, literature or natural history and combines them with ornamentation. His paintings focus above all on the perception of the transmitted message and on attentive visual inspection. On Sunday, 25 June at 5:00 p.m., the audience can enter into a personal dialogue with the artist about his oeuvre and work process.
